Christy McDonald

Christy McDonald is an educator, assistive technology training specialist, presenter and advocate for people with special needs. After working as a teacher, in many different capacities, for seventeen years, Christy decided to pursue her passion of supporting students with learning differences, their families and teachers, in other ways.

Christy presently works as an Educational Consultant and Assistive Technology Training Specialist with Bridges Canada. It is Christy’s desire to increase meaningful participation, achievement and the well-being of all students, including those with significant disabilities.

Christy helps students and parents learn to advocate for themselves and can advise parents about how to access the information, resources and technology that are needed for their child.
